SELECTED TEMPLES IN HALF A DAY (some highlights photo tour)

Half day photography tour with pro-photographer Eric d Vries showing some Angkor Park Highlights, the beautiful spots. The tour comes with camera instructions by the photographer who also will show and challenge you to get the perfect composition and framing of your pictures. Get your cameras out and follow Eric along the temples of Angkor.
This photo tour includes sunrise at Angkor, South Gate of Angkor Thom, Preah Khan, Terrace of the Leper King and more. And… Eric also will tell you where and what time to visit other temples on your own.

Half day from 5am to 10.30am but can change on clients wish.
Afternoon session is an option (incl The Bayon)

ONE DAY AT THE TEMPLES (photography workshop)

The workshop is especially for participators who want to learn to take better pictures and want to explore Angkor Park at the same time. The workshop includes an arranged and instructed photo shoot with some monks from the nearby pagoda at a quiet temple site.
The photography workshop is very recommendable for beginners to amateur- and semi-pro photographers. Included sunrise at Angkor, Preah Khan, Leper King, The Bayon and more…

The in-depth half day photography Angkor Workhop has a small selection of temple sites within Angkor Archaeological Park, a selection made by the photographer himself.  The workshop is especially for participators who want to learn to take better pictures and want to explore a part of Angkor Park at the same time. The workshop includes an arranged and instructed photo shoot with some monks from the nearby pagoda at a quiet temple site.
The photography workshop is very recommendable for beginners to amateur- and semi-pro photographers. Included sunrise at Angkor, Preah Khan, Leper King… And… Eric will tell you where and what time to visit other temples on your own.

THE ANGKOR MASTERCLASS (new)

High quality creative photography masterclass with pro-photographer Eric d Vries at selected temple sites within Angkor Park. The workshop is especially for participators who want to learn to take better pictures after an introduction of camera settings and composition. After the brief introduction we will be heading out to Angkor Park where we’ll start with an arranged portrait shoot with some monks at a quiet temple site with instructions by the photographer before photographing some photogenic spots. This still life and portrait photography masterclass comes with an post-production session in the afternoon. We will take a closer look at your temple and portrait shots before you get to work on a selection of your best images of the day with some personal help and critique (3 hrs).
Please bring your own laptop with your editing software (Lightroom).
The Angkor Masterclass is very recommendable for beginners to amateur photographers. Including photo sessions at Preah Khan, Terrace of the Leper King, The Bayon and more…

A DAY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE (photo tour)

Explore and discover the beauty of Cambodia’s countryside near Siem Reap and get away from the temples for just a day. We’ll show you the villages along the ricefields, local markets, scenic pagodas and life in the floating villages on the Tonle Sap. A ride out of town into the countryside and a boat trip in the afternoon to one of the unspoiled floating villages close to the lake. Get your cameras out for some street photography and interact with the lovely locals.
This photo tour is highly recommended in combination with one of the 1-day Temple Photo Tours or Workshops.

First day

Second day
Explore and discover the beauty of Cambodia’s countryside near Siem Reap and get away from the temples for just a day. On the third day
We’re heading out to Ta Prohm temple site, some beautiful spots followed by Angkor Wat inside. After lunch we will have some street photography sessions in different parts of Siem Reap. We will visit a small community along the Siem Reap river, explore a pagoda and interact with the locals at the big Siem Reap market.

THE SIEM REAP SESSIONS (street photography)

“Learn how to photograph the moment while exploring the streets of Siem Reap. You will learn how to shoot on the streets with more confidence, you will learn to make stronger pictures by seeing and right timing”

Besides Street Photography we’ll also focus on portraits, architecture, sceneries and details. We will be visiting local markets, a pagoda and will walk the streets of Siem Reap…

*Option is a 3-hrs Post Production workshop (Lightroom) in the afternoon. Please bring a laptop.

POST PRODUCTION SESSIONS (editing workshop)
An option is to do the post-production workshop at your hotel. He will teach you how to use Adobe Lightroom (basics) by showing some of his own work as example. We will take a closer look at your temple shots before you get to work on one of your best images of the tour with some personal help and critique (3 hrs). Please bring your own laptop.

What to bring? 
Camera: DSLR and high standard mirrorless cameras
Lenses: medium zooms and wide-angles are recommended
 Raincoat (during monsoon season) 
Charged batteries and charger
 Formatted memory cards 
Sunscreen, hat and scarf for sun protection 
Comfortable shoes a must! 
Laptop for editing workshop participators
